Year 9 Introduction to Media Studies – Disney Project (@MissG_E_M)

Description

I made these lessons to introduce my Year 9 students to Media Studies and the four areas of the Media framework. Each week there is a different focus of language, audiences, institutions and representation, and there are lots of examples of Disney films to focus on. We don't have access to computers in my classes, but for the final two weeks of each project, we will be using computers to complete a 'Pitch Your Own Disney Hit' project, which is included at the end.
