Y11 Enrichment: Giving a voice to the voiceless

Description

A five lesson extended project aimed at Y11 who have completed their internal assessments and are embarking on an enrichment programme. Students must read the first two articles before they watch Small Island - from the National Theatre archive. A series of comprehension questions, theme and character tasks are included to prompt their thinking. The final two lessons are focused on students recognising the missing voices from society and creating a project based on these missing voices.
