Reading and responding to these poems this way was an attempt to get students used to seeing familiar devices and choices employed across a range of poetry dealing with different themes so that they can go beyond the general effects of devices to the specific effects created by these choices in these contexts.
Booklet of 14 unseen poems and questions designed for remote learning but could be delivered in the classroom or set as homework. Collation of poems was driven by the desire to represent marginalised voices: women, black, POC, LGBTQ, indigenous peoples, low vision and low hearing people.
