The Craft of Writing – Narrative Writing (Year 8 or Year 9)

Description

Narrative Writing scheme that focuses on writing as a 'conscious construct'. This scheme of learning is based on the 'Teach Reading into Writing' method, and uses resources from @FunkyPedagogy in "Teach like a Writer". This scheme brings together character and setting construction, and uses extracts from 'The Great Gatsby' and 'Noughts and Crosses' to explore this.
