I share this with students at the start of the unit so that they know what the important ideas are. As we go through the play, I draw their attention to the end of topic quiz so that they can locate the answers. They should be revising throughout the scheme. After we have read the book, they do the quiz in exam conditions and I record their score. After we work on themes, characters, exam technique etc, they sit the same quiz and I again record their score to see how/if if has improved. This means I can then intervene with those who have not understood/retained the info.
