These resources are linked to my LitDrive CPD on The Tiger’s bride, which is one of the short stories in Carter’s collection of tales, The Bloody Chamber. The Power Point explores the tale in relation to Carnival theory, masks and laughter. I've included questions that make links to other tales in the collection. There are two worksheets about other ways in which the tale could be read. One by linking it to William Blake's poem, The Tyger. And secondly through thinking about The Tiger’s Bride as an oriental tale.
