The idea is you laminate and then cut these up. There are 30 cards (2 from each poem) with a quote, term and effect on each card. Each student has a card and reads their quote to a partner. The partner must say which poem the quote is from, the term that was used and the effect on the reader. To extend this further they could also suggest a partner quote from another poem for comparison purposes. Once they have discussed the quote the partner then repeats the process with their card, once complete the pair swap cards and find a new partner where they repeat the whole process
