Poetry Purpose Worksheet

Description

A simple grid focusing on Kamikaze and Checking Out Me History separating out the writer, characters and narrator/speaker/ voice in the poem.  In each column are a series of purpose verbs: accuses, sympathises with, inspires, calls us to, reflects, wonders etc.  Students work through each column explaining which characters reject what, how the writer accuses who etc.
