Intro to poetry KS3

Description

This is a lesson I have produced for my LPA KS3 classes to introduce them to poetry. Many have not accessed poetry since primary due to covid. This lesson probes students to consider what a poem is, includes a glossary of key poetic terms and asks students to identify these features in 'The Orange' by Wendy Cope - a poem that is very simple. A very simple and gentle introduction to poetry overall!
