Guess Who – Gothic Villains

Description

A resource I created in the first term of my teacher training year. I had completely forgotten about this, until I rediscovered this and used it with my Y8 group at the end of term. It can be used a starter activity or plenary task, or even as a quiz at the end of the topic. It is mainly targeted at more able pupils as there is an expectation of them being well read in the texts. However, it can be adapted/changed and amended for other learners as well. Pupils are given one clue at a time and they must try and guess the villain using the clues, the extract and images.
