We are thrilled to announce that our Impact Report for 2024/2025 is now live on the Litdrive website! This report is a celebration of the collective efforts of our members, volunteers, and partners, showcasing the tangible progress we’ve made this year.

This past year has been one of real momentum for Litdrive. We are committed to supporting English teachers and tutors in the UK by providing ongoing professional development that speaks directly to the challenges you face in the classroom.

Key Highlights from the Report

Inside the report, you’ll find details about the impact of our work, including:

  • Professional Development: We’re proud that 88.5% of members feel that our current offerings meet their need for low-cost training, resources, and coaching.
  • Community Forums: Over 150 members attended our Community Forums, with nearly 90% reporting that the sessions would positively impact their classroom practice. We’ve also added new forums for Literacy Leaders and English ECT Mentors.
  • National Conference: Our annual conference was a standout highlight, bringing together 306 teachers and 42 speakers. A fantastic 94.4% of attendees said the sessions would have a positive impact on their professional development.
  • Resources: Members downloaded an incredible 329,000 resources from Litdrive in 2024. Many members shared that these resources helped to make their teacher workload more manageable.

Looking Ahead

The report also outlines our vision for the future, which is shaped by our dedicated volunteers and the valuable feedback from our members. We’ll continue to invest in high-quality, teacher-led sessions and explore new developments in English education, such as navigating the forthcoming Curriculum and Assessment Review and understanding the opportunities and challenges of AI. Our goal is to ensure English teachers feel supported and inspired in their vital work.
