Description

A good way of building up confidence and independence.  Present students with an extract and a question.  They then complete the boxes on the left-hand side as preparation for answering the question.  Can also encourage pair/group work on this before independently answering the question.  To help with focus, I get students to fold the paper so that only the boxes on the LHS are initially seen - this breaks it down and appear less daunting.
