The Woman in Black Year 11 Revision (Edexcel)

Description

This SOW was taught to a high ability Year 11 group preparing for the Edexcel English Literature exam. The school's lesson format was 3 hour lessons, with integrated 30 mins silent reading and extended writing, so in this scheme you will find those types of activities. Lots of exam skills, and even a lesson that prepares students for a whole English Literature Paper 1 mock exam. Can be adapted for more student-led fun activities, but mainly a lot of teacher instruction, note taking and quote finding!
