Martin Luther King’s use of imagery worksheet

#149973

Comments

Could be useful for a one-off lesson (interview lesson where students are asked to share their existing knowledge of protest language, for example?) or as part of a scheme about persuasive reading and/or writing.

Description

Using a small passage from MLK's inspiring 1963 speech in Washington, students examine the reasons the speech is so powerful even today. The worksheet encourages them to look closely at his use of imagery in particular using two short examples to annotate.
