‘Good and Better’ descriptive writing modelled exemplars

Using extracts, the left hand sided exemplars are modified good but not excellent versions of the final extract. Using the prompt questions, pupils will explore how the writers shift focus, use precise verbs and attribute accurately used figurative language within their texts.
