Litdrive is delighted to announce a partnership with Poetry By Heart. 

Since 2013, Poetry By Heart has been helping teachers and students lift poems off the page to be spoken, heard and felt.

Register for free and we’ll help you discover excellent new poems plus fun ways to share them out loud and by heart. With over 1000 specially chosen poems, classroom-friendly videos, ready-made PPTs and high-quality resources, our website has everything to get started.

Want to go further? We also run poetry’s biggest, most inclusive and effective celebration of poetry: the national poetry speaking competition where young people aged 7-18 choose a poem they love, learn it by heart and perform it out loud. Our regional Finalists are invited to perform at the Grand Finale, at Shakespeare’s Globe in London. Registration, participation and entry are all free.
