What are Community Forums? Litdrive Community Forums are live, faciltated online sessions for English teachers or leaders to build subject expertise, share practice and conect with colleagues across the country. Each forum centres on a focused line of professional enquiry, relevant with the community it serves.
Who is it for? Trust Leads for English or leading English across multiple settings.
Leading English across a multi-academy trust means balancing coherence with the autonomy of individual departments, and the strategic questions rarely have ready-made answers. This forum brings trust-level English leaders together for ninety minutes of focused discussion on curriculum consistency, staff development at scale, and the practical realities of leading the subject across multiple schools. Bring your current priorities and benefit from the collective expertise of others doing the same job in different contexts. This ninety-minute forum brings Trust Leaders together to share what’s working, work through live problems, and draw on each other’s expertise, facilitated by Assistant Headteacher with English Trust Leadership at Chiltern Learning Trust, Noureddine Mlaouhi.
Noureddine says:
I’m a highly dedicated educational leader with over 20 years of experience in education, currently serving as the acting Deputy Headteacher in Stanborough School.
Driven by a commitment to academic excellence, my focus is on enhancing comprehensive Continuing Professional Development (CPD) delivery and fostering impactful learning environments. My expertise extends to managing Learning Quality Assurance processes while directly supporting staff effectiveness and subject standards within English, MFL, Drama and whole school Literacy initiatives.
Previously, I excelled as an Assistant Headteacher responsible for developing robust Teaching & Learning, CPD, and Appraisal systems in other local schools within the Chiltern Learning Trust. I have a genuine passion and commitment for developing staff through coaching, serving as the lead instructional coach for National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) and promoting evidence-based pedagogical practice. As a former Head of English & Standards Lead, I ensure my strategic focus is not just on systems, but on unlocking exceptional outcomes and successful life chances for every student.
