Resource Provision & Professional Development For English Teachers
Litdrive is a non profit organisation with 100% of all annual payments and sponsorship funds put back into the development of Litdrive’s services. It was set up, developed and is maintained by volunteers, maintained around their full time teaching roles. Our members span from the United Kingdom, stretching as far as New Zealand, Dubai, Canada, Hong Kong and beyond! All our members share the same goal: to tackle workload, create knowledge-rich resources for the classroom, provide high quality CPD but most importantly, keep amazing, experienced teachers in the profession.
Use Litdrive to share resources with teachers around the world. Simply pay a £5.00 service charge to contribute towards the operational costs of our provision, and access our resource bank, find out how to attend our regional subject knowledge events, or participate in our annual peer coaching programme. Contribute to the Litdrive movement by writing a guest blog, donating resources to share, or express an interest in becoming a Regional Advocate and host a LitdriveCPD event at your school.
Share your resources with thousands of teachers worldwide; download and rate teaching resources from a bank of experienced teachers in our community.
Share our Story
Tell your department or surrounding schools about the concept of Litdrive: instead of teachers making their own individual resources, they can collaborate and share, not only reducing workload but also provide CPD as part of our peer coaching programme.
Make a one-off donation or set up a regular monthly contribution that will aid and evolve Litdrive, making us the grassroots response to a national Workload issue. Remain an active member by donating resources or making a regular contribution.
What Members Say
Amongst everything else in education, it is often forgotten that the teacher is the most important variable in terms of pupil attainment. I can think of nothing else in my career that has been able to support teaching and the teacher in the way that Litdrive has.
Stuart MacBeath, Principal Teacher of Literacy
I’ve greatly benefited from litdrive a it has allowed me as an NQT to learn from others, and try activities and approaches that are less commonly advocated for or utilized in my current school.
Rachel Twort, NQT
Litdrive is invaluable to English teachers across the UK. Personally, I am inspired by some of the great ideas that people are sharing and this helps me to re-ignite my enthusiasm for creating innovative teaching resources.
