LitdriveCPD: Own Your Development

In addition to the fantastic CPD of sharing and collaborating with other teachers worldwide, we are excited to introduce the very first round of #LitdriveCPD, a FREE coaching project aimed at helping teachers to develop teachers.

Volunteer as a coach or alternatively, a coachee looking to develop professionally. Coaches should be willing to provide three coaching sessions over the year, virtually via Skype, Facetime, Google Hangout or simply a phone call, with a view to helping coachees set their own agenda, talking through methods of support and ultimately, working towards their own self-made goals over the year.

We are accepting notes of interest until 1st October; once this deadline has passed, Kat will pair up Coaches with Coachees based on needs and skills, and will send out supporting guidance that may help both parties to get the most out of their coaching experience.

APPLICATION HAS NOW CLOSED FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 18/19.

Coaches and those to be coached will receive further information on or before 1st October.

What Members Say

Amongst everything else in education, it is often forgotten that the teacher is the most important variable in terms of pupil attainment. I can think of nothing else in my career that has been able to support teaching and the teacher in the way that Litdrive has.

Stuart MacBeath, Principal Teacher of Literacy

I’ve greatly benefited from litdrive a it has allowed me as an NQT to learn from others, and try activities and approaches that are less commonly advocated for or utilized in my current school.

Rachel Twort, NQT

Litdrive is invaluable to English teachers across the UK. Personally, I am inspired by some of the great ideas that people are sharing and this helps me to re-ignite my enthusiasm for creating innovative teaching resources.

Sue Mulgrew , Head of English
