Language change 1: the how and why

Description

Paper 2 Q1: The start of the unit.  I start with a look at migration and the influences on the English Language including a discussion on why Latin, German, French have so much influence on our language.  This part of the unit ends with some theory about the patterns of language change and whether it's random or not.
